Community Networker
There are many ways you can help introduce Braille Institute to people in your community. Download our mini-posters and distribute them in doctors’ offices, senior centers, grocery stores and other locations. Attend or help staff a local Braille Institute activity or event. You can even make Braille Institute a special project for your school or civic club, group or organization.
Regional Center Volunteer
Volunteers at our five Regional Centers serve as guides and readers, help narrate Talking Books and provide other vital, on-site assistance. Do you have a special skill or expertise? Many volunteers teach a variety of classes and workshops that cover a broad range of practical and creative pursuits. No previous experience working with people with impaired vision is required. We’ll train you.
